List of Easy to Start Businesses

It is clear that business usually mixes with passion and experience and outcomes/profits. The following are list of businesses an individual can engage in. While I try to carefully assist each of my visitors and followers on choosing the most appropriate business deal, I hope it should meet your passion and give you a reward/profit as desired. If you are also interested in self development, I also have a suggestion of what to keep doing to advance you at each step.
For some who also believe that business is an attitude, you probably see this as a guide for teaching business arts. The list and it's brief description can be adopted even by accumulations. When a business no longer suits you, such business can be passed on to someone who is interested in it.

1. Painting - This business just needs the following items for a start: 1. Complete set of primary colour paints. 2. Canvas. 3. Small size containers for mixing the primary colours to get other colours. 4. Table or an art stand which can be constructed by you or a paid carpenter if you can't do it yourself.

 You can shop online to get the above listed items and even more. Or you get them from local stores.

 You also need artistic skills to make impressive art paintings. The success chance is high if you can be a genius to impress your potential customers. The good thing is that, because beauty markets itself, if your work is impressive, more customers will always come and your business grows very large and fast.

2. Graphics Designing - What you need to start this business is a PC that has at least a graphic package installed in it.

 Because graphics design is an art, it is all about impression... However, you can improve your creativity and impressive ability by learning steadily.

 3. Power Point Design - You need a PC that has a presentation software (such as Microsoft PowerPoint). You need to have contents to write for presentation - usually, contents for different presentations differs. So get to master the art of presentations design, and you get jobs and contents for each presentation will be provided by your clients or your employer.

4. Carton Design and Packaging. This business just needs your time and interest as you will be spending time to design and print on cardboard, and fold into any appropriate shape. You will be needing a printer or you contract the printing job out along with your design. So you look for customers. Once you have gain the market, you will always have business coming.

5. Cartoon Authoring (i.e drawing cartoons and writing stories along side - Their market is large as almost all kids, even some adults, likes to read cartoon stories. You see such things appear on magazines and on news paper) - You will need writing materials and you can publish your completed job online and/or with a magazine company or stand alone.

6. Game Authoring - If you know you are creative enough and talented in entertaining people, you can design a new game that others can learn to play easily and with fun. When the players enjoy it you can start monetizing your new game design. As well, you can sell your game algorithms to software game developers to buy implement and deploy as game software.

7. Music Composition (Schools need new and interesting songs for students to perform), Etc. What you need is simply a set of writing materials (such as book and pen) and a simple music recorder.

Starting up any of the above businesses does not cost much.

9. Web Development - I strongly recommend this business for those who want to make real income around the web. The merits are:

1. It is a long term investment where once you have put things in place your income should be flowing even when you are not working.
2. It is a good place to start from if you are interested in becoming the owner of social media and/or software such as Facebook, Google, Apple etc.
3. You can easily become a mobile app designer and developer in as many platform as can be supported by PhoneGap with just the knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
4. You can even become a tutor to students who subscribe to your lessons and make real money.

Personally, I strongly recommend this business for young and talented people who do not mind spending time to learn and improve on what to do. The challenge with this skill is that it requires so much patience as it takes a lot of time to master the different technologies that is needed to becoming proficient in this business.

10. Story Writing - You can write interesting stories and sell. When writing stories for sale the options of target customers could be "Movie Industry", "Magazine Publishers", "Book Publishers", etc.
Which ever is your option then also consider selling online.

11. Make-up Artistry - This is a lucrative business in cities due to the people's huge passion for beauty and looking good. You have to learn the art to start making money from it. When you have learned the art well enough to do the business then you can open a shop and or get customers through adverts. You can look at various methods of advertising that you might want to consider.

12. Fashion Design - This also is a lucrative business in cities for the same reason as above. While the above works more during festive seasons or during occasion, this works almost always for another reason that it deals with part of the Human Basic Needs. This reason alone is enough for you to know your high chance of growing your business and getting wealth from such.

13. Lesson Tutoring - There is at least one thing that you can do well, ranging from nursery school subjects, primary school subjects, secondary(high) schools subjects, tertiary schools, crafts, Etc. Though what is not certain, having gotten something to teach others, is your ability to teach. So this works best if you know you are gifted in teaching. Otherwise, you can consider writing about those things you know very well and sell them as books.



14. Music Production - Just in case you were thinking of what you could do with all of your ability to create good sounds within you then you can consider learning how to use some application software to create real time sounds that you sell to musicians and make money.
Some of the common applications for making music are

1. Cubase - For recording and editing audio.
2. n-Track Studio - For recording and editing audio.
3. Fruity Loops  Studio (FL Studio) - For creating beats and adding musical instruments voicing to your recorded audio. This is the best music production software I know of and it is very easy to learn. You can check out for video tutorials on YouTube to get started.

15. Trading - It will be a brilliant idea to start buying things where it is relatively cheap and sell where it is profitable. But make sure the cost of transporting it to the consumer is not high enough to chop off your profit. In fact, this can e-commerce can be automated with what is called Drop-shipping and Logistics Services

16. Advertisements - You can start doing what attracts many people and then integrate a slot for advertisement which those who wants their advert to be placed pays for the slot.
The easiest and fastest way to get up and running in this kind of business to have an advertisement website where people can advertise their products and pay you for the advert services that your website offers. Or better still you can check to know when some big companies want to advertise any of their products/services and you apply.

17. Marketing - You can also start telling people of some companies product and make a deal with the company such that for some numbers of their products you succeed in selling, or for some of their services you make customers to pay for, they pay you per ratio of commission.

18. Modeling - Are you young and trendy in fashion? do you have good physique? Do you show grace in walking? Are you beautiful? If yes, then you could consider enrolling into a modelling organisation where you start making money as a model.
Better still, you can own a fashion/model organisation. You can start this with just an online business by having an entertainment website where you upload lots of trendy fashions and modeling photographs. Build up subscribers and start making money.

19. Web Articles - More often people pay for articles they want to publish either on magazine, newspaper, occasion, online blog etc. So if you enjoy writing a lot then this business is for you. In my opinion, online is just the good place to start selling your articles as many people are who are searching for article writers are already waiting.

20. Counseling. If you are a professional in one field or the other, you might want to leverage on your level of experience to counsel newbies and get rewarded financially for the knowledge you share.

Counseling is a good business and there are lots of people who just need to be guided and are ready to pay for it. For instance, I was just chatting with one of my students who learned a skill from me some times ago and she wants to learn another skill, so I told her I could point her to video tutorials on YouTube she could use to learn the skill without spending a dime, but she said, she prefers me over a YouTube videos for the sake of mentoring. I quite agree with her. So, there are lots of people who would pay just to save time and get value in the shortest possible time.

21. Managerial Training/Seminars. Here is another pain points of many business people. They may have the money, but often times we still see people look for help on setting up their business and managing the same. Also every individual needs managerial skills to be in his/her chosen carrier.

If, you have good managerial skills that has stood the test of time and has produced results, then, here is your niche. Begin to create content and value then host virtual or physical training in exchange for money. 22. Land and Estate Ownership. Real estate business is a cool business and it is not expensive to start. I know of some guys who started the business while still working in another company, but now they are doing only real estate business.

Real estate business is very profitable especially if you have good connection with people who currently need your service. You can start by posting daily on social media with good graphics on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc and from there you begin building. Also make sure you connect with people who are already succeeding in the industry. It helps you to remarket their products and get commission
